It is the third time, the local self-government index will evaluate the municipalities of the country. The index (www.lsgindex.org) is now a well-known and nationally recognized tool that studies and assess executive as well as representative municipal bodies throughout Georgia.
After the preparatory work, the evaluation of all self-governing bodies will begin in the spring 2021. Based on the results of the evaluation, the project team will prepare National Assessment of Georgian Municipalities 2021 report and will present the rankings and results to the general public in September.
