Within the framework of the CSSIGE project in 2019-2021, CTC supported 5 Universities to design and launch academic course “The Role of Civil Society”. The aim of the elective course is to provide undergraduate students with reliable academic knowledge about civil society and civil society organizations. The Oxford textbook on Civil Society has also been translated as course resource to support its implementation.
The program has been further updated and enhanced in 2021 within the frames of the current Civil Society Initiative (STAR Initiative) project. For that end additional teaching and learning resources have been prepared and handed over to the engaged universities. The course will be regularly implemented in coming three years in the following 7 Partner Georgian Universities: Ilia State University, Gori State Teaching University, Shota Meskhia Teaching University Of Zugdidi, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University , Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University, Akaki Tsereteli State University, University Of Gergia
