On February 12, 2020 graduates of regional tour guides short-term certificates training course were awarded certificates.
The course was implemented in Samegrelo, Kakheti, Shida Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions. The partner schools are Shota Meskhia Zugdidi State Teaching University, Aisi Community College Aisi , Vocational College Gantiadi and Community College Opizari.
In total 63 participants completed the course.
Apart from alumni from all four regions the event was attended by Tamar Kitiashvili- Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, Marina Kutateladze – representative of USAID Georgia Office of Economic Growth, Brian King chief of party of USAID’s Zrda Activity in Georgia, National Tourism Administration authorities, Partner vocational Colleges and vocational tourism organizations.
The project was implemented by the CTC through the initiative and funding of USAID’s Zrda Program.
